Design Scope of Work: Family Room Remodel and Custom Furnishings and Decor

Wedgewood Place is a study in balancing the home’s dramatic angles with thoughtful scale and proportion, transforming challenging vaulted geometry into a defining architectural feature. This home, which was a total remodel, embodies timeless California living refined through a European lens. The design incorporates a palette of soft neutrals, warm wood tones, natural textures, and aged metal finishes, which creates warmth, depth, and continuity. Custom millwork, furnishings, window treatments, layered materials, and tailored lighting introduce craftsmanship and permanence while supporting the family’s everyday living and entertaining. Rather than competing with the architecture, each element was carefully considered to complement and soften it. From cabinetry and hardware to surfaces, furnishings and decor, every detail contributes to a cohesive, enduring composition. The result is a family room that feels collected rather than decorated—sophisticated yet approachable, luxurious without excess, and designed to evolve gracefully with the family who calls it home.
