Our Spanish Revival Project is officially complete, and we couldn't be more proud of the result. After months of thoughtful planning, design development, construction, and installation, this home has been completely transformed into a timeless family retreat that blends functionality, warmth, and elevated California living.

The Brief

This project involved the complete remodel of a 2,500-square-foot California ranch-style home originally built in the 1950s. Situated on a large corner lot in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, the home offered wonderful bones but lacked the flow and functionality our clients needed for modern living.

The kitchen, located in the center of the great room, created a hectic and disjointed circulation pattern throughout the home. The bathrooms and laundry room were dated, storage was limited, and the interiors lacked the warmth and cohesion our clients envisioned.

The goal was clear: create a forever home for the family through thoughtful space planning, elevated finishes, custom cabinetry, updated windows and doors, and a complete furnishing and styling package.

The Solution

To improve both function and flow, we relocated the kitchen to the north side of the home, creating a more open and intuitive layout that better supports family life and entertaining.

The scope of renovations included a complete remodel of the primary bathroom, guest bathroom, powder bathroom, dining room, laundry room, office, den, and great room. We redesigned the fireplace, created a new hallway connection between the guest bedroom and office, and introduced custom storage solutions throughout the home.

Every finish, fixture, material, and furnishing was thoughtfully selected to create a cohesive design that feels timeless, sophisticated, and deeply personal to the family.

The Scope of Work

The newly relocated kitchen became the centerpiece of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, premium appliances, decorative lighting, beautiful stone surfaces, and carefully selected finishes that blend functionality with timeless design.

Every bathroom was fully renovated with new cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, flooring, and thoughtfully layered details that create a luxurious everyday experience.

The laundry room was completely reimagined with custom storage and improved functionality, while the great room was transformed into a welcoming gathering space centered around a newly designed fireplace.

A custom banquette was incorporated into the dining area, creating a comfortable and inviting space for casual family meals and entertaining. Throughout the home, new flooring, paint, baseboards, casing, wall treatments, lighting, interior doors, exterior doors, and windows established a cohesive architectural language that elevates every room.

The project concluded with a complete furnishing and styling installation, including custom furniture, rugs, artwork, lighting, window treatments, and decorative accessories that bring warmth, texture, and personality to each space.

The Design Vision

Inspired by the timeless character of Spanish Revival architecture, the design balances old-world charm with modern functionality. Warm wood tones, natural stone, layered textures, handcrafted details, and curated furnishings create an environment that feels collected, inviting, and refined.
